pace Technology Students Society, IIT Kharagpur and National Students Space Challenge 2023 in collaboration with ISRO are organizing Space Quiz on September 2, 2023.

About the Quiz Competition

The universe is full of magical things, patiently waiting for our wits to grow sharper. These were the words of Eden Phillpotts. The National Students Space Challenge 2023 is your chance to test your knowledge of the universe and see how sharp your wits are.

This exciting event is open to students of all ages and levels of experience, so whether you’re a seasoned space enthusiast or just starting to learn about the stars, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

The quiz will cover a wide range of topics, from the basics of astronomy to the latest advances in space exploration. So be prepared to think outside the box.

Eligibility Criteria

  • This is an individual/team-based event that is open to both school and college students.
  • Each team can have a maximum of 3 participants. The members of the team can be from different institutions. All the members in a team should be of either only school level or only college level.

Prizes

The prize amount is Rs. 21,000.

Rules & Regulations

  • The preliminary round will comprise 3 online MCQ-based quizzes. The teams may participate in one or more of these. In case a team wishes to participate in more than one preliminary quiz, the best score out of them will be chosen. The preliminary round will be the same for both categories (school category and college category).
  • Create a team using the link given above, a Team ID will be generated for you. Use this Team ID to register for the event on Unstop.
  • The qualifiers of the preliminary round will proceed to the pre-final round which will be conducted during the fest, in online mode for the School category and at IIT Kharagpur for the College category. The 8 best teams that qualify for the final round will have to battle it out for the prize. The pre-final and final rounds will be separate for the two categories (school and college).
  • Description of sub-rounds at a pre-final and final level will only be provided during the event.
