About Bandipore

Bandipora is the administrative headquarters of the district of Bandipora in the UT of Jammu and Kashmir, India. It is located on the northern banks of Wular – the largest fresh water lake in Asia. Bandipora has a terraced garden similar to that of Nishat Bagh in Srinagar. In Kashmiri there is a famous phrase about Bandipora or in other words Bandipora is famous for three A’s – A’lim (knowledge), Adab (good habits or literature) and Aab (water).

Competition Details

The District Administration Bandipore, in partnership with MyGov, is excited to announce an essay competition focusing on AI for Good Governance.

With the rapid advancements in artificial intelligence (AI), there is immense potential to transform how governments provide services and make decisions. This competition seeks to explore innovative ideas on how AI can be harnessed to enhance transparency, efficiency, and citizen engagement in the governance process.

Topic

AI for Good Governance.

Objective

To generate thoughtful insights on the application of AI to improve governance and public service delivery.

Submission Guidelines

• Participants are required to submit an original essay of not more than 500 words.
• Essays should present creative and feasible ways AI can be integrated into government processes.
• Submissions must be sent via the MyGov portal.
• By participating, contestants agree to grant the District Administration Bandipore rights to use and promote the winning essays for educational and promotional purposes.
• Winners will be recognized for their contributions in advancing the discourse on AI in governance.

Eligibility

The competition is open to all.

Prizes

First three winners will be felicitated by District Administration Bandipora.

Evaluation

A panel of experts from the Ministry will evaluate the essays based on originality, relevance, feasibility, and clarity of expression.

Results

The winners will be announced on the MyGov portal on 6th September, 2023.
