Submissions are invited for Design a Logo and Tagline Contest 2023 by Dept. of Drinking Water and Sanitation and MyGov. The last date of submission is August 1, 2023.

Contest Details

Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation in collaboration with MyGov India, is inviting citizens to participate in Design a LOGO and a TAGLINE for GOBARdhan activity.

GOBARdhan was launched to ensure cleanliness in villages by converting bio-waste including cattle waste, kitchen leftovers, crop residue and market waste to improve the lives of villagers. This will provide economic and resource benefits to farmers and households.

Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation is working in coordination with other Departments/ Ministries, State Governments, public/private sector institutions and village communities to spread awareness and generate ‘Jan Andolan’ so that community collective action on GOBARdhan is achieved.

GOBARdhan will benefit rural people in general and women in particular from the use of clean fuel, improved cleanliness in villages and through improvement in health. This initiative will support biodegradable waste recovery and conversion of waste into resources, reduction of GHG emission, give boost to entrepreneurship and promote organic farming.

Guidelines for Entries

The campaign is open to all Indian citizens.

Logo should be submitted in JPEG, PNG or PDF format only.

All fonts should be converted to Outlines/Curves.

If file contains spot colours or RGB colours, they will be converted to CMYK.

File should be high resolution – at least 300 pixels per inch at 100% size.

File should look clean (not pixilated or bit-mapped) when viewed on screen at 100%.

Entries should not be submitted in compressed or self-extracting formats.

Each entry should be accompanied by a brief written explanation of the Logo and Tagline and how best it encapsulates its essence.
