Reel Making Competition on One Country, Many Cultures by TERI, New Delhi & Ministry of Culture, India [Monetary Awards & Certificates]: Submit by Oct 15

TERI, New Delhi along with the Ministry of Culture, India is organizing a reel making competition for youth from 15 – 29 years on One Country, Many Cultures.

About the Competition

To honor 75 years of India’s independence as well as the illustrious history of its people, culture, and accomplishments, TERI is implementing a program titled, #75ReelsforCelebratingIndia. The program envisages a reel-making competition along with hosting a National Youth Forum. The program is being implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, under the umbrella of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

Aims & Objectives

The program aims to provide a learning environment for young people while also recognizing India’s distinctive culture through inspirational messages and the display of patriotism in a variety of forms. This program will act as a discussion forum for issues related to creating India of one’s dreams, maximizing India’s potential, and positively influencing India’s changing environment.

The objective of this competition is to explore youth creativity and honor the glorious history of India’s people, culture, and accomplishments. Reels have surely become a means for the younger generation to exhibit their creativity and bring in the best trends on social media in this digital era and an effective way to reach a wider audience.

According to recent statistics, reels get 22% more engagement than traditional videos. Through the repository of reels, a collection of 75 reels will be featured during the National Youth Forum that will take place in Delhi on the eve of ‘Constitution Day’ i.e. November 24, 2023.

Theme

The theme of the competition is “One Country, Many Cultures.”

Eligibility Criteria

They are inviting youth in India who fall into the age category of 15 – 29 years to take part in the Reel-making competition.

Prizes

Winners will get monetary awards, certificates, and the opportunity to attend the National Youth Forum along with a felicitation that will take place in Delhi on November 24, 2023, on the eve of ‘Constitution Day’.

Besides these, shortlisted 75 reels glorifying India will be showcased on the day of the Forum which will have representatives under the banner of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav from the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, and the top 5 reels will be submitted to the Ministry. The 75 reels that will be shortlisted will also be promoted on TERI’s website and social media accounts.

Submission Deadline

The last date to submit and share your reel for the competition is October 15, 2023.

Submission Guidelines

Participants must post and share reels by tagging TERI (FacebookInstagram) and Ministry of Culture (FacebookInstagram) and using the hashtags #AzadiKaAmritMahotsav, #AKAM, #75, #TERI that best represent the nation’s magnificent history of 75 years of independence and its people, culture, and accomplishments.

The reel will also recognize India’s own culture with uplifting messages and displays of patriotism. All submissions should be original thought processes that elicit a positive opinion and drive transformative impact in society.
