National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) in collaboration with MyGov, India is organizing a Quiz Competition called “Prepare to Prevail Disaster IQ Test Test Your Preparedness Skills” from August 22 to September 21 in an online mode.

National Disaster Management Authority (India), abbreviated as NDMA, is an apex Body of the Government of India, with a mandate to lay down policies for disaster management. NDMA was established through the Disaster Management Act enacted by the Government of India on 23 December 2005.

About the Quiz

National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) celebrates its foundation day every year to underscore its commitment to various disaster management. As a part of this NDMA proposes to conduct this activity to motivate individuals and communities to take proactive measures. It aims to leave a lasting impression, inspiring people to make preparedness a priority and contribute to a more resilient society.

Through a series of thought-provoking questions and interactive learning, participants will test their understanding of various types of disasters, learn effective response strategies, and discover the importance of proactive measures in safeguarding lives and communities.

Eligibility Criteria

All Indian citizens are eligible to participate.

Prizes

• 1st prize: Rs. 5000.
• 2nd prize: Rs. 3000.
• 3rd prize: Rs. 2000.

General Guidelines

• This is a timed quiz. Participants will be required to answer 20 questions within 10 Minutes (600 seconds).
• The quiz will be available in both languages i.e., English and Hindi.
