Submissions of entries are invited from students of classes 8 to 12 for the VIVO Ignite Technology and Innovation Awards 2023. The last date for registration is January 3, 2024.

About the Competition
The VIVO Ignite: Technology and Innovation Awards 2023 is a national-level award that encourages young minds to explore the endless possibilities of technology for the betterment of our society. The theme “Tech for Good” aims to recognize and applaud innovative projects that contribute positively to society.
Aim of the Competition
Promoting Technological Creativity: Encourage students to think creatively and innovatively in leveraging technology to address real-world challenges. A culture of creativity among students inspires them to explore technology as a tool for problem-solving and positive societal impact.
Enhancing Practical Application of Knowledge and Cultivating a Technologically Competent Generation: This will provide students with a platform to apply theoretical knowledge gained in the classroom to practical, real-world scenarios and develop a skilled and technologically competent workforce for the future.
Theme
This year’s theme “Tech for Good-Technology and Innovation for Social Impact” is a call to action, which invites students, individually or in groups, to create and submit a working prototype that holds the potential to make a profound and positive change in society.
Eligibility Criteria
Both individual and group submissions are welcome from Class 8 to 12.
Prizes
All the participants who successfully submit their posters and write-ups in the Idea Submission Stage will be awarded Online Participation Certificates.
All the 200 participants who make it to the Prototype Stage will be awarded a certificate and exciting goodies.
The top 25 ideas will be shortlisted based on video submission. These top 25 ideas will be considered by iHUB DivyaSampark-IIT Roorkee for research study/incubation/start-up.
Cash prizes worth Rs. 21 lakhs+ will be awarded to the top 5 national winners, and the 5 national finalists will be awarded medals and certificates.
