The Center for Public Policy and Governance, Institute of Social Sciences, New Delhi in collaboration with the G20 India-Y20 India 2023 Secretariat is organizing Online Essay Competition for young researchers between 18-35 years.

About the Competition

Climate change is the most important issue of the 21st century. There should be a collective global mandate to seek the active participation of the youth for a robust response against environmental collapse. India has the largest youth population in the world, who are the key stakeholders in the climate justice movement for their generation.

Themes

They invite essays from young researchers on one of the following themes:

  1. Youth acting as a bridge between traditional and modern practices for sustainable living.
  2. Role of youth in promoting SDG Goal 12 (responsible consumption).
  3. Challenges to young entrepreneurs in green technology development.

Eligibility Criteria

Young researchers between the ages of 18 and 35 can apply.

Awards

Cash awards & publication opportunities for the best 10 essays.

How to Submit?

Interested students can mail their essay on any one theme and a screenshot of the entry fee to cppg.iss@gmail.com.
